Regal JP North Finchley Ltd has received resolution to grant planning consent from the London Borough of Barnet to redevelop the Lodge Lane car park.

The plans include 98 new sustainable homes, nearly 30,500 sqft of commercial space—including a restaurant, cinema, and bowling alley—and a new public square for events and socialising.

The scheme retains 80 public parking spaces at ground level, while new homes will be car-free and supported by excellent public transport links. The development prioritises sustainability, with energy-efficient systems, green roofs, and landscaping to boost biodiversity.

Construction is likely to start in Q2 2026. A dedicated Regal Construction Lodge Lane website will be launched later this year.
